LA LAGUNA (TENERIFE), 17 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez (PSOE), issued a decree on Wednesday removing Vox councillor Manuel Alejandro Rodríguez from the position of president of the Transparency, Public Information, and Good Government Commission, according to sources from the council who specified that PP councillor Eva Cólogan will take over the role.
Rodríguez was appointed earlier this year as the commission’s president through an agreement in the Mixed Group to rotate councillors. He has now been displaced following a proposal discussed in the Plenary Session this month, set in motion by Vox. The proposal aimed to address illegal registrations and undocumented immigration by the Municipal Police and other social entities.
