SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 17th July. (EUROPA PRESS) –
An arrival of a wooden boat carrying 191 migrants of sub-Saharan descent was reported early this Wednesday morning at the Los Cristianos port, located in the southern part of Tenerife, according to sources from Maritime Rescue informed via Europa Press.
The wooden boat was sighted by a fishing vessel at approximately 4:46 a.m. near Callao Salvaje, following which the Salvamar Alpheratz was dispatched to rendezvous with the wooden boat and guide it to the port, where it docked at 7:15 a.m.
Among the passengers on the boat were 13 minors without guardians, accompanied by nine other minors and an infant.
