The National Police disclosed on Tuesday that four individuals, both Spanish and British nationals, have been detained in the southern region of Tenerife on suspicion of committing a crime against public health. This follows an operation where authorities confiscated 100 kilograms of cannabis buds.
Furthermore, the National Police seized 900 marijuana plants at various growth stages, along with almost 40,000 euros in cash and 2 kilograms of “rosin,” a cannabis extraction derived from applying pressure and heat to marijuana buds or hashish.
The National Police has dismantled a criminal group involved in the preparation, sale, and distribution of substantial quantities of marijuana.

Allegedly, the detained individuals leased lavish residences for cultivating narcotic substances. The National Police discovered the illicit substances in three properties in southern Tenerife that were fitted with security measures. These homes had undergone modifications to their doors and windows, incorporating hermetic seals to facilitate the cultivation and processing of marijuana at various stages.
Additionally, authorities confiscated tools and machinery utilized for preparing and distributing the illicit substance.
The probe was initiated in April, with one of the arrestees having a previous record of involvement in drug trafficking, as per the report.
