“No worries, the Virgin is here!”: Puerto de la Cruz honours its history as a maritime town

“No problem, the Virgin is on board!” echoed through the air once more on Tuesday at 8:35 p.m., at the fishing dock of the Tourist City as the Virgin of Carmen was embarked on the Nueva San Ramón. The intricate and thrilling manoeuvre of setting sail onto the sea was completed successfully once again. Applause and cheers filled the air to mark the end of a full day of celebrations.
