A vessel from the Maritime Rescue has accompanied a small boat with 56 people to the Port of La Restinga, including a minor and a minor, located near the island of El Hierro.
Sources from this organization have indicated that around eight in the morning on Tuesday, a call was received from the small boat stating that it was out of fuel, stopped, and seeing a large mountain in the distance without specifying the position.
The Maritime Rescue centre in Tenerife mobilised the Sasemar 103 plane, the helimer 201, and the Adhara lifeguard for the search, and alerted ships in the area to intensify surveillance and communicate the position if the sighting occurred.
At 10:25 hours, the Adhara lifeguard reported that it had spotted a small boat with the same colours as the one in the alert and accompanied it to the port.
However, Maritime Rescue continues the aerial search until confirmation that the rescued small boat is the one being sought.
Upon arrival on land, an emergency response team attended to the occupants of the small boat, and at least one medical transfer has taken place.
