Isabel Vera Santiago, a representative of the Canary Islands, considers herself an advocate for her island in Sardinia. Having resided and worked there since 1988, she envisions creating a cultural link between these two regions, connecting her homeland in the Atlantic Ocean with the daily life of the Mediterranean Sea. One of her initiatives includes promoting the establishment of an air route between Sardinia and Tenerife, facilitated by suggestions made to the company Binter. Isabel is optimistic that this endeavour will materialise soon, enhancing the bonds between the two territories.
