For the past three years, the Second Chance School (E2O) in Adeje, under the management of the Don Bosco Foundation, has been organising the unique Agüita urban camp. This camp is specifically designed for young people aged 16 and above, with the goal of assisting them in finding employment opportunities or successfully reintegrating into the education system.
The Adeje City Council, through the Promotion of Economic Activity and Employment department overseen by Mercedes Vargas Delgado, fully supports this project by providing 100% subsidy. From July 30 to August 14, young participants will have the chance to engage in a diverse range of activities that blend enjoyment, community living, inclusion, and wholesome leisure with an educational focus.
Throughout this three-week period, youths will have the opportunity to take part in sports, water-based, cultural, and recreational activities. This camp doesn’t just offer entertainment; it also serves as a platform for individual and social development.
To sign up, individuals interested in the camp can scan the QR code displayed on the promotional poster and complete the registration form. For any inquiries, they can reach out to 695 665 516 or visit the E2O headquarters situated at 2 El Ancla Street.
The project revolves around five key pillars: innovative training, enhancement of fundamental and job-related skills, hands-on experiences linked with the corporate arena, addressing social needs, and providing leisure and healthy free time options for young people.
