
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14th Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canary Islands Government, through the General Directorate of Emergencies, has announced the conclusion of the wind pre-warning status across all the islands since yesterday Saturday at 12:00 noon.
This determination was made based on the information provided by the State Meteorological Agency and other available sources, and in compliance with the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (PEFMA).
As per the Aemet forecast, today on Sunday, there will persist moderate northeasterly winds with intense gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes. The central peaks of Tenerife and La Palma will experience moderate to strong westerly winds.
