A special envoy is underway to investigate the source of pathogens at Garden Beach

The Department of Ecological Transition and Energy has initiated an examination of the Punta Brava underwater discharge pipe, the sole authorised point for land-to-sea releases in Puerto de la Cruz. This investigation aims to shed light on the origin of the excessive concentration of pathogens, resulting in the closure of the bathing area at Garden Beach.
