The Tenerife Council has uncovered a deceitful scheme related to the Ten+ Card, which is a counterfeit promotion claiming to provide free transportation on public transit for an entire year, as communicated through their social media platforms.
A deceptive Facebook advertisement offered a “Transportation Card for Residents” as a “special deal” available for application “until 31st July 2024” and valid for “one whole year,” as declared in this fraudulent post.
The Cabildo advises that the renewal or acquisition of the Ten+ Card should only be carried out through the Official processing points. They also caution against clicking on dubious links or divulging personal information on unofficial websites.
