Gathering of migrant adults and children for harmony in Candelaria

In Candelaria, the town is dedicated to fostering harmony and combating xenophobia and other biases. This was demonstrated through an event that brought together the elderly residents of the town with a group of migrant minors from the Areca centre at the Comprehensive Recovery Centre. Organised by the Candelaria Town Hall, the gathering aimed to encourage the sharing of experiences, the establishment of emotional connections, and empathy between the two groups, by allowing them to learn about each other’s realities.
