SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 6th July (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo, in collaboration with the Primary Sector department and the Tenerife Rural Foundation, is showcasing Casa del Vino on the Tenerife Tram “to introduce this establishment and promote it as a distinctive and iconic venue on our island, suitable for hosting a variety of events.”
Minister for the Primary Sector, Valentín González, elaborated on this “ambitious promotional initiative, using signage on the Tenerife Tram to highlight the unique features of Casa del Vino, which offers a range of activities from wine and local product tastings to hosting meetings, parties, conferences, and workshops.”
The Tenerife Tram was chosen as the optimal advertising medium in the metropolitan area due to its extensive coverage and visibility, functioning as a moving billboard that travels multiple times daily between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, two municipalities where half of the island’s population resides, attracting thousands of tourists daily.
Casa del Vino is distinguished by its museum and architectural offerings, as well as its focus on promoting premium local produce. Visitors can sample Tenerife wines, along with other local products like cheeses, honey, and oils.
Valentín González expressed optimism with the campaign, stating “our aim is to raise awareness and attract more visitors to Casa del Vino, contributing to the enhancement of tourism and the local economy by spotlighting the island’s products and celebrating its cultural and culinary wine heritage.” The campaign is scheduled to run for two months.
