Today’s AEMET Weather Forecast | What to Expect Weather-Wise on this Saturday in the Canary Islands?

Clouds and drizzles will persist this Saturday until midday in the northern part of the islands, as per Aemet, which predicts clear skies in the rest of the areas and a slight increase in maximum temperatures towards the west and in the peaks.

At sea, there will be a northerly or northeasterly wind force 4 or 5 along the southeast and northwest coasts, picking up in the afternoon to force 5 or 6, northeast wind force 3 or 4 elsewhere. Rough to very rough seas. Northerly groundswell of about one metre. In the southwest coast, variable wind force 1 to 3, with breezes and slight waves.

Cloudy skies are expected, mainly during the early morning and late hours, decreasing to partly cloudy or clear in the east and south from late morning onwards, with partly cloudy intervals in the north and west in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain relatively stable. Trade winds with occasional strong gusts in inland areas in the afternoon.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Arrecife 20 26

Mostly cloudy with some clear spells in the south during the early morning and late hours, and mostly clear or sunny skies from the morning onwards. Temperatures will remain relatively stable, with a slight increase in maximum temperatures in the west. Trade winds expected.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Puerto del Rosario 20 25

In the north and northeast below around 900 metres, prevailing cloudy skies with a low chance of drizzles in mid-altitudes during the first half of the day. In the rest of the areas, mostly clear or clear skies. Temperatures will remain relatively stable, with a slight decrease in maximum temperatures in mid-altitudes and northeastern peaks. Trade winds with occasional strong gusts and very strong occasional bursts on southeast and northwest slopes, especially towards the end of the day.

Trade winds with occasional strong gusts on the southeast slope and extreme northwest. In central peaks, weak westerly winds prevailing.

Partly cloudy with cloudy intervals in the north, more compact during the early hours and at late hours. Mostly clear in the rest of the areas. Changes in temperatures will be minimal, with a slight decrease in maximum temperatures in peaks. Trade winds with occasional strong gusts and occasional very strong bursts on the northeast and east slopes, predominantly breezes on the southwest coast.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): San Sebastián de La Gomera 22 25

In the north and east, prevailing mostly cloudy skies with some clear spells during the central hours, not ruling out light drizzles during the first half of the day, especially in the northeast. Partly cloudy skies elsewhere. Temperature changes will be minimum, with a slight decrease in maximum temperatures in mid-altitudes and peaks facing north and east. Trade winds with occasional strong gusts and occasional very strong bursts on southeast and northwest slopes, predominance of breezes on the west coast; in higher areas, generally light northwest winds.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Santa Cruz de La Palma 20 25

Cloudy periods in the north, more dense during the night and in the late hours. Partly cloudy in the rest of the areas. Changes in temperatures will be minimal, with a slight decrease in maximum temperatures in peaks. Trade winds with occasional strong gusts and occasional very strong bursts on southeast slopes and the far northwest.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Valverde 14 18
