Ideo Foundation is on the lookout for educators and social supervisors to work at their centres in Gran Canaria and Tenerife during the summer months. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to carry out their professional duties in a multicultural and dynamic environment, contributing to the comprehensive development of children and adolescents.
Regarding the requirements that candidates must meet to apply for this job offer in Canarias, Ideo Foundation – a non-profit organization working towards social inclusion and improving people’s quality of life – requests that educators meet the following criteria:
- Required Qualifications: Social Sciences or Criminology, Social Education, Teaching (any specialty), Pedagogy, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Anthropology, or Social Work.
- Experience: prior experience in the social sector in similar positions (minimum of 6 months).
- Valuable: experience in direct intervention with minors and/or families, with individuals under judicial measures, unaccompanied foreign minors (MENA), or in correctional facilities.
- Essential: registered as a jobseeker or in an employment improvement situation at the Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE).
- Driving License: possession of a driving license and own vehicle.

As for the requirements that monitors must meet, they are as follows:
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma in Social Sciences or Middle or Higher Degree in Social Branch. Professional Certification level 3 or Higher in the Social Sociocultural or Sanitary Field.
- Experience: prior experience in the social sector in similar positions (minimum of 6 months).
