A collision took place on the TF-5 motorway at 13:00 on Wednesday, resulting in the road being blocked once again. According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, the incident occurred in a northern direction, near San Benito, when a car crashed into a bridge. The specific bridge affected is the one just before entering the city through the old bus station.
The accident led to a significant traffic build-up stretching several kilometres along the road.
