The Tacoronte Organic Farmers and Breeders Association, which brings together professionals in the sector from Los Realejos to La Laguna, is celebrating its seventh anniversary this year. To mark this occasion, the group, which has been marketing its own produce since 2017, has organized a series of events focusing on the consumption of healthy food.
During the first four Tuesdays of this July, on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, from six to seven in the evening, a series of talks and workshops aimed at adults and children will take place at the Municipal Market La Estación de Tacoronte.
The activities will be led by Julia Morell, a Senior Technician in Dietetics and Nutrition, who also has expertise in areas such as sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, paediatrics, and counselling on AC and BLAW, in addition to a Master’s degree in obesity and eating disorders.
The Tacoronte Ecological Farmers and Breeders Association showcases its products for sale every Tuesday, from 3:30 to 7:00 pm, at the Municipal Market premises, with a diverse range of fresh and organic produce.
