The Civil Guard has initiated a large-scale search operation for Jay Slater, a 19-year-old British traveller who went missing on June 17 in the town of Buenavista del Norte, located in Tenerife. The search is centred around the Masca region. Given the rugged terrain of the area, which is characterized by steep cliffs, rocky landscapes, and numerous valleys, paths, and trails, volunteer groups from Civil Protection and Firefighters are assisting in a systematic and coordinated search effort. The search is commencing from the Mirador de la Cruz de Hilda with a well-planned and organized approach that will continue until nightfall.
