The Emergency Coordination Centre 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands has confirmed that the fire outbreak in Buenavista del Norte, Tenerife, has been stabilised.
Two aircraft were deployed by CECOPIN on Saturday afternoon to operate in this hard-to-reach area. Specifically, the fire started on the Ladera del Morro, in the Masca vicinity.
Cecoes has issued a reminder that the Government of the Canary Islands is maintaining a pre-alert status due to the forest fire risk.
