Metrotenerife, the transportation provider managed by the Cabildo de Tenerife, is set to launch its summer schedule for the tram service starting this upcoming Monday, 1st of July. During this period, Line 1 will be operational from 07:00 to 15:00, with trams arriving every 6 minutes, while Line 2 will have a frequency of every 12 minutes. On other weekdays, the tram timetable will be adjusted accordingly until midnight.

The summer schedule adjustments will be in effect only from Monday to Friday, with the weekend services maintaining their regular frequencies and running throughout the night.

Summer Schedule: Weekdays

On weekdays, Line 1 will run every 6 minutes from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The frequency will then be adjusted to 7, 7.5, and 15-minutes intervals until the end of service hours. As for Line 2, trams will operate every 12 minutes until 3:00 p.m., after which the frequency will shift to every 15 minutes.

Metrotenerife is planning to modify the transportation schedule again to meet the summer demand starting on the 8th of July. From that date onwards, Line 1 will run at 7-minute intervals on weekdays, while Line 2 will operate with a frequency of approximately 14 minutes. The summer schedule extension will be effective until early September.

Passengers can find detailed information about the summer schedule on the Metrotenerife website, https://metrotenerife.com, and on the company’s social media channels.
