This upcoming Thursday, June 27th, a new edition of SanBetinto will take place in La Laguna, as part of the Extra Summer Tacoronte-Acentejo program. This event, which is a highlight of the municipality, will showcase the best wines from fifteen wineries within the Tenerife designation of origin. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the picturesque surroundings of the La Concepción tower.

Mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, emphasised the significance of “once again hosting this wine affair which perfectly blends local cuisine with the finest wines of the island, all set in the heart of our city.” The mayor highlighted that “in addition to being a source of enjoyment and liveliness, this event sheds light on the meticulous work put into vine cultivation and wine production by all the participating wineries.”

The wineries that will be showcasing their products in the historical centre of La Laguna include Presas Ocampo, Marba, Viña El Drago, Viña Estévez, Trancao de Acentejo, Domínguez Cuarta Generación, Loher, Guayonge, Cráter, Viña Norte, Tasat, Linaje del Pago, Hacienda de Acentejo, La Baldesa and Mallar de Los Trazos.

The wine tasting experience will be complemented by specially crafted tapas for SanBetinto by Baggerman El Holandés, Cooperativa La Candelaria, Charcutería Chicha, La Batea Marinera and Charcutería Víveres Jacinto.

Luis Yeray Gutiérrez extended an invitation to the residents of La Laguna and Tenerife to partake in this edition of SanBetinto and expressed gratitude for the collaboration and effort put in by the Tacoronte Acentejo Denomination of Origin, the wineries, and all the participating establishments, which have made this exciting tasting evening possible.
