These are months in which, regardless of the high demand, we continue to guarantee maritime transfers of passengers and cargo through our sea highway.”

Among the most demanded routes during this period are the one connecting Tenerife with Gran Canaria, the one linking this island with Fuerteventura, as well as the route with which the shipping company started its activity in July 1974, connecting La Gomera with Tenerife.
At this time of year, to meet the demand for sea connectivity with the mainland, Fred. Olsen Express increases the frequency of its route between the Canary Islands and Huelva, from July 1st to September 30th. A route operated alongside Baleària with two ships: the Sicilia, with a capacity for 1,000 passengers and 400 vehicles, and the ferry Marie Curie, which can transport over 800 passengers and 600 vehicles.
