As per information from sources, certain individuals are offering ad space in an alleged periodical supposedly published by the Municipal Police, a periodical that, in reality, does not have an existence.
The authorities have made it clear that they have no connection with any such publication and have advised business owners to stay vigilant and avoid making any payments.
In the notification circulated through social media platforms, the Municipal Police have requested those impacted to report any attempted fraud by calling the numbers 092 or 091.
This form of deceit aims to exploit the trust of local business owners, making promises of advertisement in a non-existent periodical to unlawfully acquire money.
