The Canary Islands Police Force has arrested a 40-year-old man in the municipality of Arona following a family argument that escalated into violence. During the process of identifying the individuals involved in the dispute, the arrested man assaulted one of the officers, leading to his immediate arrest for attacking authority.
When verifying the detainee’s identification data, the officers discovered that there was a warrant for his arrest and appearance issued by the San Cristóbal de La Laguna Instruction Court.

On June 18th, the Canary Islands Police also arrested a 35-year-old man outside his home in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The detainee was wanted for an alleged offence against public finance, as per the Instruction Court No. 2 of La Orotava.
