SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25th June (EUROPA PRESS) –
Lola Padrón, the Common Deputy, has put forward three new candidates for the roles of deputies within the Common Council team at the Parliament of the Canary Islands.
Pending their approval through the suitability assessment, Padrón has suggested Antonio Alarcó, a doctor and former PP senator, for the position of first deputy. Additionally, Judge María Aránzazu Tejera has been proposed as the second deputy and the Insular Director of the General State Administration in La Palma has been nominated as the Special Deputy for Gender Equality and Combating Gender-Based Violence.
“These selections enhance the dedication of the autonomous body towards advancing civil rights and gender parity,” stated Padrón.
