The Tenerife Council is carrying out improvement and rehabilitation works on the access road from TF-28 to TF-1 in the La Campana Industrial Estate. The project involves an investment of 40,000 Euros and is expected to be completed within three months.
Roads councillor, Dámaso Arteaga, explains that the intervention on this road is necessary as the surface is deteriorated, causing “increasing inconvenience for road users each day, also leading to risky situations as drivers try to swerve or avoid the existing potholes that almost entirely cover the road.”
The works will involve milling the road section, removing a three-centimetre thick layer of asphalt pavement, followed by pouring thermoadhesive treatment and laying a new six-centimetre thick wearing course, as well as repainting the affected section’s road markings.
The works, which will be carried out during night-time hours, will have a team for managing diversions and traffic regulation, in addition to the necessary vertical signs, road marking, beacons, and lighting.
