St. John’s Eve arrives in Tenerife wrapped in its usual magic and mystique, but with the added concern generated by the pre-alert situation due to the risk of forest fires. Tonight, with summer temperatures, different spots on the island will be filled with activities and music to enjoy with family, as a couple, or with friends.
For instance, in the capital of Tenerife, one of the busiest locations in recent months is being inaugurated for these purposes. This is the Charcos Area, located in Valleseco where, from 4:00 in the afternoon, live music, food, and festivities come together in Santa Cruz.
The Autonomous Organism of Festivities has proposed to the residents of Santa Cruz to celebrate St. John’s Eve with live performances by DJ Franklin, Clave de Son, and Grupo Saoco. The celebration will continue until midnight to honour St. John with a sea bath.

Moving away from the capital to the south of the island. One of the best places to experience the eve of St. John is in Granadilla de Abona. Over the years, thousands of residents of Tenerife, Canarians, and tourists have visited the coast of this southern municipality, and this year will be no different.
