The La Laguna City Council announced yesterday that reservations for over 500 tables for the San Benito Abad Magician’s Ball 2024 would be available early on Friday. Shortly after eight in the morning, the person in charge of managing the website confirmed that all tickets had been sold out.
Councilor Dailos González expressed regret that not everyone who wanted to reserve tables could be accommodated, but he emphasized that it is not a mandatory requirement to access the venue. “Simply wearing the typical costume will suffice.”
The event is expected to attract thousands of pilgrims on July 12 around the La Concepción church and Marqués de Celada street.
Three stages at the La Laguna Magician’s Ball
The theme for this year’s San Benito Abad Magician’s Ball 2024 will be ‘One dance, three environments’, referring to one of the main highlights of this edition – three musical stages that will be available in La Laguna that Friday.
The primary stage will be situated under the La Concepción tower, featuring performances by folklore groups Ixemad, Chisaje, Hespérides, and the University Folklore Association from 9:30 p.m. At 1:00 a.m., the group Atenia will perform in the tower area.
A second stage will be set up on Marqués de Celada Street, showcasing the entertainment of Los Muchachos from 10:00 p.m.
Lastly, in the San Benito area, the Revelación, Tropin, and Maquinaria orchestras will entertain the crowd starting at 10:00 p.m. until the early hours of the morning.
