Buenavista Stars and More showcases the new musical project by Estudio Sound. This performance includes a collection of the greatest hits from Buena Vista Social Club of the past twenty-five years, along with a repertoire that honours the 1940s and 1950s golden era of Cuban music.

Interactive Play: Foreigner’s Trial

The audience will participate in the play Foreigner’s Trial, inspired by a novel by Albert Camus. The public trial at Teatro Unión Tejina, led by the Madrid-based Indubio theatre company, encourages spectators to pass judgement on the main character, Mr. Mersol, accused of murder.


Fetén Fetén: Roots

The acclaimed duo featuring Jorge Arribas and Diego Galaz presents a live performance centred around traditional music. The show will explore popular rhythms from the Iberian Peninsula in a dynamic and lively manner, featuring waltzes, jotas, pasodobles, charros, Ruedas, and seguidillas.

Music Masterclass by Promusic Association

LOCATION: Convent of Santo Domingo

The Society of music experts from the Canary Islands Promusic is organising a piano workshop focusing on flamenco and jazz at the Santo Domingo convent. Conducted by pianist Javier Galiana, who will perform an opening concert, participants will be guided on how to approach these musical styles.

The Electrofolk Laguna Festival introduces Gran Canaria saxophonist Alba Gil Aceytuno at the Teatro Leal. Alba has been involved in musical projects such as Los Hermanos Thioune, Tamara Baas, Amaguk, Don’t Cut the Tree, and Gran Canaria Big Band. The artist will deliver a performance blending jazz, hip hop, punk rock, and Canarian folklore.


Where Truth Resides – Juan Miguel Castellano

Where Truth Resides compiles the tracks from Juan Miguel Castellano’s self-titled album. Through this performance, the artist embarks on a journey through his Canarian heritage, merging classical music, jazz manouche, gypsy jazz, Berber music, and rap; all with the flamenco guitar as the focal point.
