SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 20th June (EUROPA PRESS) –
Today, the Civil Guard announced the apprehension of three individuals – two in Belgium and one in Tenerife – in connection to the murder of a 66-year-old Belgian lady and the vanishing of her spouse, who resided on the island in the town of Adeje. .
The investigation, which is ongoing, is being conducted by the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Command, and we are anticipating the completion of the formalities and the transfer of the detainees.
The operation has been overseen by the Court of Instruction Number 1 of Arona, which has decreed the proceedings as confidential.
The lady’s remains were found in the vicinity of La Jaca and La Listada, in the town of Arico, wearing a yellow sack over her head, with both legs and one hand missing, and significantly decomposed on 27th April – her disappearance was reported in that same month–.
