The traffic lights along La Salle Avenue in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have been out of operation since this morning. The Local Police reported an electrical supply incident after 8:00 a.m., which affected the signalling.
As a result, police officers were deployed to the bustling road to manage traffic flow.
Despite the claim by the City Council of the capital that it is a “planned power cut”, the traffic lights remained inactive at 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday.
CAUTION: An incident in the electrical supply has disrupted traffic light signalling in the area of Avda. La Salle, with officers from @PoliciaLocalSC managing traffic. Please adhere to the signs and instructions provided by the officers. #TRAFFICSC
