Dani Alves continues to enjoy his temporary freedom while legal appeals are being resolved. In this context, the Brazilian footballer has decided to make the most of this time and reconnect with his wife, Joana Sanz. The couple is planning to move to the Canary Islands, specifically to the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Joana’s hometown.
The couple is reportedly looking for an apartment in the central area of Santa Cruz, near the shopping district. Joana Sanz is said to have taken advantage of a recent work trip to explore potential locations. Although the relocation has not been officially confirmed, pictures of Alves and Sanz at Barcelona El Prat airport suggest that the couple has already travelled to the Canaries, initially seen as a leisure trip or to visit Joana’s family.
The couple’s plans to move seem to be well underway. Alves has been spotted in the Tome Cano area, and Joana has made several trips to the archipelago for work purposes. Despite no specific date being set, everything indicates that the move is in progress.
Meanwhile, Alves must report weekly to the courts in Barcelona to comply with the measures imposed after his release. This legal requirement raises questions about how he will handle these obligations if he moves to Tenerife. However, it seems that the former FC Barcelona player is willing to face these challenges.
