New brawl on a flight heading to the Canary Islands. A man was detained after being “dragged” off a Glasgow to Tenerife flight that was forced to divert to Ireland. Jet2 flight LS155, which departed from Glasgow bound for the Canary Islands on Wednesday just before 16:00, landed at Shannon Airport about 45 minutes later after being diverted.
A man in his twenties was arrested after an incident on board the flight around 17:30 on Wednesday, June 12.
Images shared on social media showed a man being dragged off the plane by the police face down, with what appeared to be a seatbelt used to restrain him by his feet.
