Four individuals harmed following crash involving multiple vehicles, one of which overturned on the TF-5 highway



At approximately 10:15 p.m. this Saturday, four individuals sustained injuries after multiple vehicles collided, causing one to overturn on the TF-5 highway, near the Guajara area within the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife).

As per the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2, Fire Consortium personnel secured the accident site and successfully extricated an occupant from inside the cabin of a vehicle that did not overturn.

Meanwhile, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided medical assistance to the injured parties, one of whom was a 24-year-old man with moderate injuries. He was subsequently transported by a medicalized ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

Additionally, an 18-year-old young man, a 49-year-old woman, and another 28-year-old woman sustained minor injuries. They were all conveyed by ambulance to San Juan de Dios Hospital for further treatment.

Finally, the Civil Guard managed traffic in the area, compiled the necessary report, while the Road Maintenance Service carried out clean-up operations on the highway.
