Announcements made by Tenerife Cabildo on Thursday have confirmed that due to ongoing rehabilitation works on the TF-13 highway, traffic disruptions will occur between Tejina and Bajamar (La Laguna) until July 3rd.

The focus of these works is to enhance the safety measures at the Porlier crossing, spanning from kilometer points 13,700 to 13,900, leading to the closure of this section starting from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, as mentioned in a communication from the Cabildo.

To address this, an alternate one-way route has been established, with traffic lights controlling traffic in the impacted area, along with a prohibition on left turns from the Porlier Urbanization onto the TF-13.

These efforts are part of the overall rehabilitation plan for the TF-13 island highway, with a total investment of 3.2 million euros committed to the project.

Motorists and road users are urged by the island authorities to exercise utmost caution and comply with all signage and instructions provided by the traffic management team.
