The Tenerife Health Area Directorate recently released the results of the latest water quality tests, confirming that the fluoride levels in the public water supply of La Guancha have been corrected and are now within the established limits.
The La Guancha City Council has announced that the previous restrictions, which only applied to children under 8 years old since May 29, have been lifted.
Mayor Antonio Hernández stated, “We had mentioned that the consumption restrictions for children under 8 would be temporary. As of June 6, we can confirm that the entire population of La Guancha can now safely consume the public water supply, in compliance with all regulations and safety standards.”
