WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE CANARY ISLANDS | What to Expect Weather-wise this Monday in the Canary Islands?

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast for this Monday partly cloudy with possible light, scattered, and occasional drizzle, as well as some clear intervals in the central hours, temperatures remaining fairly constant, and light to moderate northerly winds.

Regarding the sea condition, it predicts north or northeast winds force 3 or 4, temporarily increasing to 5 and 6 offshore, slight to moderate sea state growing to rough or very rough, and variable force 1 to 3 and 1 to 4 with slight sea state or smooth sea. A swell of 1 to 2 meters is expected.

The forecast per island is as follows:

Cloudy in the north, with the possibility of scattered drizzle during the early morning. Wide clearings will develop in the central hours. In other areas, mostly clear skies, except in the interior of the south where there will be some evolving cloudiness. Additionally, intervals of high clouds are expected during the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds. Sea breezes on southern coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 20 24

Partly cloudy with low chance of drizzle in the north, becoming mostly clear from noon onwards. In other areas, expect partly cloudy skies. Additionally, intervals of high clouds are forecasted, especially in the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds.

Arrecife 19 26

Partly cloudy with low chance of drizzle in the north, becoming mostly clear from noon onwards. In other areas, expect partly cloudy skies. Additionally, intervals of high clouds are forecasted, especially in the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds.

Puerto del Rosario 19 25

Expect cloudy skies, except in the summit, clearing up in the north from noon. Low chance of scattered and occasional drizzle. Additionally, intervals of high clouds are expected, especially during the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds. Sea breezes on western coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 21 27

Expect partly cloudy skies, thicker on the north side, with scattered and occasional drizzle possible. Additionally, intervals of high clouds are expected during the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds. Sea breezes on southern coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

San Sebastián de la Gomera 21 26

Expect cloudy weather, clearing up at midday. In the summits, clear skies except for intervals of high cloudiness in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds. Sea breezes on western coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Santa Cruz de la Palma 19 23

Expect partly cloudy skies, with high cloudiness in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain stable. Light to moderate northerly winds. Sea breezes on southwestern coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Valverde 17 22
