The Tenerife Island Council concluded the Tenerife International Fashion Fair with a touching tribute to the late renowned stylist known as ‘Franko Hairdresser’.
During the event, the Minister of Education and Employment, Efraín Medina, along with the Minister of Industry, Manuel Fernández, presented the stylist’s daughter with a commemorative mural that will be displayed in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A video in memory of ‘Franko Hairdresser’ was then showcased before the ‘Hairdressing in the Black Box’ live show commenced.
The final day of the fashion fair featured a runway show by accessory companies at 11:30 a.m. at the Fairgrounds’ Black Box.
Brands like Nok, Roselinde, and Hammerhoj Design showcased their upcoming season’s collection, featuring necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bags, and footwear, all elegantly displayed on the catwalk directed by Daniel Pages.
Following the fashion show, the Black Box was transformed into a bustling hair salon, hosting a live demonstration by Esteban Emmanuel, the global ambassador of ‘Live Fashion Hair’.
The ‘Franko Hairdresser’ Hairdressing and Aesthetics Fair saw the participation of over 50 exhibitors from hairdressing, barbering, aesthetics, tattooing, and body painting industries, who introduced the latest trends, products, and treatments to industry professionals.
Moreover, a dedicated ‘New Style’ makeover area was established, offering activities for the general public, managed by academies and renowned experts, featuring nail art battles, barber showcases, and demonstrations by talented youth, among other engaging sessions.
The Tenerife International Fashion Fair united designers, national and international brands, and independent creators to infuse innovation into the more than 9,000 square meters of exhibition space and 3,000 square meters of runway, transforming the Fairgrounds into the hub of Atlantic fashion trends. The event brought together close to 200 companies from diverse sectors associated with fashion, hairdressing, and aesthetics.
