The forest brigades and firefighters of Tenerife have successfully brought under control a fire incident in El Teide National Park when it had only managed to spread about 300 meters, affecting broom bushes and undergrowth.
This incident was stabilized around 17:45, as reported by the La Orotava City Council, which indicates that it was declared about 45 minutes earlier.

Forest brigade units (Brifor), firefighters from Tenerife, Civil Protection of La Orotava, as well as the Local Police of the municipality, all moved to the scene.
