SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 8th June (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Teatro Cine Fajardo in Icod de los Vinos is set to be the stage for the grand reveal of ‘Sunday Night Dancing’, the latest album by Jairo Martín. The event will take place on Saturday 15th June at 9:00 p.m. and will showcase Jairo Martín alongside his band, Los Chicos del coro, consisting of Alejandro Samarín, Néstor Rodríguez, Víctor M. Francisco, and Juan Luis Pérez, following their highly successful stint in Madrid. Entrance to the concert is complimentary.

‘Sunday Night Dancing’ is a compilation of ten fresh tracks recorded at the El Escondite studio in Madrid. For this project, Jairo Martín has once again collaborated with Kike Eizaguirre and Iván Domínguez, who have worked closely with the artist over the past months of 2023 to bring this new concept to life.

The album features contributions from various musicians and collaborators who have played pivotal roles in Jairo Martín’s musical journey at different junctures. Some of them include Canarian artists like Alejandro Samarín, Víctor M. Francisco, Néstor Rodríguez, Juan Luis Pérez, Eduardo García, Ykay Ledezma, Bea Polegre, and a special appearance by Fran Baraja. Hailing from the mainland, Kike Eizaguirre, Manu Clavijo, Pedro Cuevas, Íñigo Coppel, Patricia Lázaro, join in, with notable appearances by figures such as Vicente Climent and Marcelo Novati.

‘Sunday Night Dancing’ presents a diverse blend of styles, reflecting Jairo Martín’s eclectic musical preferences by incorporating various genres while keeping Spanish rock as the core element. In this latest release, Jairo delves into topics like lovelorn tales in the urban landscape, pays homage to the realms of artistry and wine, and tips his hat to the musicians who have been by his side throughout his career, among others.

The album also includes a poignant homage to the revered Rafael Berrio through the rendition of ‘I won’t go down to the center anymore’. From pop melodies to edgy rock, classic mid-tempo tunes, and sing-along anthems, this album promises a unique and intimate musical journey for all listeners.
