The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Local Police has taken the decision to shut down José Manuel Guiméra Street in the capital city of Tenerife following the fall of building facade fragments from the multiple-use building II.
Efforts are underway by firefighters to secure the facade, meanwhile, traffic flow has been diverted around Buenos Aires Avenue in the vicinity.
Motorists intending to pass through the area are urged to proceed with caution.
