Several commuters on the island’s bus services in Tenerife were taken aback by a heated disagreement during a journey.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening on a bus operating on route 711, which links Santa Cruz of Tenerife and Costa Adeje during nighttime and early morning hours.
The bus was heading south on the island. At a certain point, the chauffeur realised that he had missed a stop where passengers were waiting. Consequently, he decided to turn back in an attempt to pick them up.
According to sources from Titsa, at that moment, a passenger stood up and started to reprimand the chauffeur. Another Titsa driver, who was a passenger heading home after completing his shift, stepped in. Titsa clarified that a driver must not be disturbed or lose focus as it endangers the safety of all passengers on board.
