SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 1st June (EUROPA PRESS) –
Santiago Abascal, the leader of Vox, asserted on Saturday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife that they will respond to “any attack by the PSOE” by intensifying their efforts. “We will not retreat,” he emphasised.
“We are not like their previous adversaries. They should be aware of this. We will act decisively because we understand their past intentions,” he told media before attending a party event on the legal measures that the PSOE may take against him for claiming that the Mannheim attacker (Germany) is an “ally” of the President, Pedro Sánchez.
Abascal accused the socialists of attempting to “conceal their corruption.” “The financial misconduct of the Prime Minister – he added – his ministers, and his relatives.”
He pointed out that they also aim to conceal their joint decisions over the past five years, as they have aligned with the PP 90% of the time.
“This is why the PSOE only mentions the right and far-right, but remains silent on the Green Deal, the enforcement of climate extremism, and the insecurity they have instigated in the streets. Similarly, the PP only discusses the amnesty, ignoring the issue in Catalonia, and suddenly the Europeans are discussing the amnesty,” he expressed.
Abascal stressed that both parties “seek to conceal their 90% collaboration against our energy independence, industrial autonomy, and the safety of the Spanish populace.”
FEIJÓO’S MEETING WITH VON DER LEYEN
In reference to the meeting between the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, Santiago Abascal remarked that the PP must elucidate to the public that Von der Leyen oversees the Green Deal implementation and migration policies.
“If this is the best associate Feijóo could find, he has an issue, as until now, Von der Leyen has been a key partner of Pedro Sánchez,” he declared.
