A 28-year-old man sustained moderate injuries when his lorry overturned while passing through Las Chumberas, in La Laguna (Tenerife), according to a report from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 3:57 a.m. on the TF-5 highway, close to Las Chumberas, in the mentioned municipality. The staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) quickly responded to the scene and found the young man with chest trauma and moderate pain in his upper limb. He was subsequently transported by ambulance to the San Juan de Dios Hospital.
The Tenerife Firefighters Consortium also arrived at the site and secured the area, while the Road Conservation Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife cleaned the road. Additionally, the Civil Guard officers conducted the necessary investigation.
