THE CANARY ISLANDS WEATHER | What to Expect in the Canary Islands this Wednesday?

Cloudy skies will continue to dominate this Wednesday in the northern part of the islands, as per the Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

At sea, there will be northeast winds 4 to 5 in the northwest and southeast, rough or strong rough seas in the northwest and southeast, easterly swell of 1 to 2 metres on the southwest coast and variable 1 to 3 with breezes and rippled.

ISLAND FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY:

In the north, cloudy skies that will decrease to intervals during midday. In other areas, mostly clear, except for occasional intervals in the south at night. Temperatures remain steady. Winds from the north with occasional strong spells in the southeast or far west slopes. On mountain tops, light and variable winds.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 18 23

In the north and west, overcast skies, clearing to partly cloudy skies during midday. Elsewhere, mostly clear. Temperatures remain stable. Moderate north winds.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Arrecife 18 26

Partly cloudy along the west coast, mostly clear elsewhere. Temperatures remain steady. Moderate north winds.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Puerto del Rosario 18 25

Cloudy intervals in the north, decreasing to intervals during midday. Elsewhere mostly clear, except for occasional intervals in inland areas of the southern slopes. Temperatures remain steady. Moderate north winds. On mountain tops, light and variable winds.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 20 26

Partly cloudy in the north, clearing up during midday. Mostly clear elsewhere. Temperatures remain unchanged. Moderate north winds.

FORECASTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

San Sebastián de La Gomera 20 25

Cloudy in the north and east, decreasing to intervals during midday. Elsewhere, generally mostly clear except for occasional intervals on the western slopes. Temperatures remain steady. Moderate north winds. On mountain tops, light and variable winds.

Santa Cruz de La Palma 17 24

Partly cloudy in the north, with some clear intervals during midday. Mostly clear elsewhere. Temperatures remain unchanged. Moderate north winds.
