The Tenerife tram is one of the most used means of transport in the metropolitan area of the island. The route, which is repeated dozens of times a day, connects Santa Cruz de Tenerife with San Cristóbal de La Laguna, passing through bustling locations such as the campuses of the University of La Laguna.
So many people create dirt, but some do it deliberately. This is what a user of X denounces, who shares an image showing a seat where an energy drink can and an empty cookie packet have been left. Additionally, the seat is covered in crumbs.
An image that has been repeated several times on the tram and seems to be becoming a more common act of hooliganism.
From the @TrabTranviaTfe profile, they report that “the investment in cleaning @tranviatenerife is meagre“. They compare the current situation with what happened in a not too distant past: “That (the litter) used to last as long as it took to reach the terminal. Now the tram can remain like this for a whole day. We have already complained about the situation in the Safety and Health Committee.”
