SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26th May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man aged 41 lost his life in a road incident that took place on Sunday along Avenida Isora, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, Tenerife, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The tragic event unfolded around 9:45 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operational centre received a distress call informing about a collision involving a motorbike and a car, prompting Cecoes to swiftly mobilise the necessary emergency response.
A male aged 41 sadly passed away. Additionally, a 19-year-old male who had suffered a minor wrist injury during the incident was taken by a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Hospital del Sur. Services activated by CECOES 1 1 2:
Emergency personnel from a basic life support ambulance were accompanied by a medical team from the local Health Centre to the accident scene. Upon arrival, healthcare professionals attended to the 19-year-old young man, the car driver, who had sustained wrist trauma, and subsequently transported him to a medical facility.
Subsequently, an ambulance from the SUC provided medical assistance to the motorcyclist who had sustained severe chest injuries and initially took him to Hospiten Sur, where tragically he succumbed to his injuries. The Local Police carried out the necessary formalities.
