SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25th May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Nira Fierro, has responded to criticism from the national secretary general of the Canary Coalition, David Toledo, asserting that the current Government of the Canary Islands is the only one disconnected from the public.
This statement was made on social media after David Toledo claimed that the Minister of Territorial Policy and general secretary of the PSOE in the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, showed a lack of consensus within the islands, indicating “his disconnection from the archipelago since being in Madrid”.
“The only ones out of touch with the public are the current Government of the Canary Islands, who have not implemented a single measure for the working class, the majority of society, and those most in need, even after a year. A lot of talk and little action,” Nira Fierro posted on her official X account, previously known as Twitter.
