The phrase “not all heroes wear capes” can be applied to what happened last Thursday, May 16, at Loro Parque. An off-duty firefighter saved the life of a visitor who fainted and started convulsing at the Animal Embassy.
While the park staff called for an ambulance, the firefighter, dressed in civilian clothes, administered first aid while they waited for the paramedics. Now, a few days later, this heroic act of this person has come to light.
The person affected is out of danger. He is recovering from an emergency surgery, which was a complete success.

Loro Parque wants to find this firefighter to personally thank him for his valuable assistance. As stated by the Animal Embassy, “his selfless action saved a life”.
