The II GF Hotels Job Fair brings together over 130 attendees in Adeje

Under the motto We’re Looking for Your Talent, GF Hotels held its II Open Day at GF Gran Costa Adeje, attracting more than 130 participants. The two-day event provided attendees with the opportunity to get to know the corporate culture of the chain, participate in interviews with the Human Resources department, attend informative talks, and engage in networking sessions with department heads.

Ana Belén López, Vice President of Grupo Fedola, and Juan Carlos de León, Operations Director of GF Hotels, inaugurated the event by highlighting the values that distinguish the Canarian chain, where people are at the core of management. In this line, Pilar García, HR and Talent Management Director of GF Hotels, expressed that the event conveyed “an internal view of our culture to attract and retain talent in the midst of a highly competitive job market”. She emphasized that the event was a success “because it has allowed us to meet individuals with great potential whom we hope will become part of our team.”

The event not only offered job opportunities but also a learning experience. Through specialized training in the Housekeeping and Kitchen Departments, participants learned about working in both areas alongside the hotel chain’s head housekeepers and chefs, combining theory and practice.

The day concluded with testimonials from the GF Hotels team. Mimi García, a room attendant at GF Gran Costa Adeje; Hugo Martín, assistant head housekeeper at GF Isabel; Joelmis Scardigno, a chef at GF Gran Costa Adeje; and Athala Cortez, a chef de partie at GF Victoria, shared their professional experiences within the chain, highlighting GF Hotels’ commitment to the growth and professional development of its employees.

The II Open Day of GF Hotels has not only been a success in terms of participation but has also demonstrated the chain’s commitment to attracting and retaining talent, as well as to the professional development of its team.
