The National Police in Adeje, located in the southern region of Tenerife, have apprehended six individuals on suspicion of violating intellectual property rights. During a targeted operation, law enforcement confiscated over 4,500 counterfeit products bearing the logos of prominent brands, including items of sportswear and accessories.

The police initiative was triggered by multiple complaints lodged with the National Police by representatives of the affected companies. The operation also involved the collaboration of various official experts designated by the respective brands.

Specialized agents responsible for combating and investigating intellectual property crimes conducted a raid in various establishments in Adeje, resulting in the arrest of the aforementioned individuals and the seizure of 4,500 fake products from reputable brands such as wristwatches, sports gear, apparel, and accessories.

The details of the case, as documented by the National Police, have been submitted to the competent judicial authorities for further action.

The National Police emphasizes that in such cases, perpetrators aim to gain an unfair economic advantage over legitimate businesses, jeopardizing product quality assurance for consumers.
